THE SYMBOL

Never Stop
Becoming

In the old story, the God Xólotl refused to be sacrificed. He escaped by transforming:
first into corn, then into agave, then into the axolotl, the little creature of the lakes that
never stops renewing itself. We love that story because it’s how our family makes tequila. You don’t sacrifice the tradition, you transform it. Agave sets the rhythm.
Water and fire shape the spirit. Time completes the work.

A symbol of transformation, renewal, and the ability to become without
losing where you came from.

A living symbol of transformation.

THE FAMILY

The Craft of a 7th Generation Master Distiller. Brought to the Present by the 8th.

Our family has made tequila for seven generations. Our father is the seventh: the maestro tequilero, the blender. We are Montserrat, Viviana and Gabriel, the eighth, and Axolotl is ours together. A historian traced our story in the archives of Guadalajara. In the inventory of our family’s taberna, more than a hundred and fifty years ago, there was a tahona: the stone wheel that crushes the cooked agave. There is one in ours today. The stone still turns.

THE CRAFT

We mill with a tahona stone, ferment naturally, distill in small pots, and add nothing: just water and agave, transformed by fire. Our father says the eighth generation shouldn’t inherit shortcuts. What our family really makes isn’t tequila. It’s the moment after dinner when nobody leaves the table. We just make what’s in the glass. That moment, the sobremesa, is yours.
